Dr. Scott Mills and TJ for a sports massage are a dream duo. They both have helped me recovery from a strength training injury over the last three months. Everyone in this office is a joy to work with and a true professional on their craft. Dr.Mills is keenly aware of week to week changes and his adjustments are always spot on. His approach with active release helped get me back to my normal routine quickly. Previous to going to TJ, I thought I had been to great deep tissue/sports massage therapists but in retrospect none of them compare. His technique in truly unique and the amount of energy he puts into each 60 minute session is unmatched.

I've been working with Dr. Mills since the summer of 2021! I've been to a lot of chiropractors since childhood and Dr. Mills is the only one I've seen enough benefit from to consistently attend! He does a great job combining chiropractic manipulation with active muscle release to even out my shoulders and he gives good exercises to help counter act the effects of being a grad student writing papers 24/7 :) Above all, I've gained amazing somatic awareness through this work that helps me stay mindful and healthy.

My wife set up a chiropractic appointment for me as a point of general body maintenance. I had not tried a chiropractic services before, but was open to the revelation and my wife was looking for something to surprise me... There was no revelation. It was like paying to sit in on an introductory physical eduction class for freshman in high school. The class where they tell you that stretching is important and that you have two legs and two arms. The "treatments" are glorified back cracks (by the way they make you pay for each one of these). The "Doctors" are the equivalent of an online continuing eduction course in that intro high school PE class. The business is run out of a cramped two story rowhouse. There was nothing remarabe about the location, the interior decor, or the equipment. Charging me $275 for a 40 minute session, there are much better uses of your money. A massage at the Four Seasons or in Napa. Four hours of foot massage in Chinatown. Six Barry's Bootcamp classes. Paying a fit personal trainer who practices what they preach. About 125 Bob's Donuts. SF Custom Chiropractic even itemizes charges for stretches / back cracking they walk you through while you are there. Imagine going to your personal trainer and being charged for using the kettle bells after already paying them $150 for the hour already. Imagine ordering dinner for $30 and then being charged for the pepper they put on your meal or for the use of the cutlery -- oh did I mention its $275 for $40 minutes! No value for your money here. I give a second star only because some (other) people may find a personal connection and find it worth paying egregious sums of money to feel better about themselves or to get basic health tips that they wer never exposed to (which I find very hard to believe). Health is important, so however you get there. For me, for anyone considering chiropactors for the first time, and in partiuclar, for anyone considering this SF Custom Practice -- I suggest skipping it and spending your money elsewhere.

I started working with Dr. Scott Mills several months ago and was able to feel improvements to my mobility, back tightness, and posture after just a few sessions. He's provided me with simple exercises to improve and maintain my progress and I've also noticed improved body awareness that has helped my functional movements and golf game. Strongly recommend!

SF Custom Chiro is hands down the best chiro experience I’ve ever had! I came with bad knee issues and tendon issues after a half marathon and Dr. Mills got me back up and running to train for a marathon within a month. Everyone’s kind and attentive, and I know more about how to take care of myself properly after!

I came in to see Dr. Mills on a recommendation from a friend. I was dealing with some issues that regular stretching and exercises and massage weren't addressing and it was getting worse. Dr. Mills was lovely to work with and was great at explaining what was going on to cause the issue and how to address it. After a few visits, I was (truly) shocked that the issue had resolved; I really thought I was going to have to live with the discomfort. I am so appreciative and will definitely be back should other problems arise!

I initially came for new insoles, I’ve been using insoles for more then 15 years to everywhere I go. In my first meeting with Dr. Jessica she told me that I don’t need them and she can fix my legs with a few sessions. As skeptical as I was after less then two months I’m feeling great, no foot or back pain and I’m not using insoles at all. Will definitely recommend on their service and on Dr. Jessica specifically!

They do not take Medicare or Medi-Cal. You have to pay for the service first, they give you a receipt and you have to call insurance yourself and beg them to cover it. 👎

Dr. Remillard is truly the best. He is thorough and will help through any of your concerns and injuries. Unlike most other doctors, he never stopped me from doing any sports, but instead worked with me to find new adjustments and solutions to the pain. I trust him 100%, and he's so responsive to email and kind in responding to any questions you might have. He is truly amazing- 100% recommend!
