Musculoskeletal pain, especially of the lower backbone, can be relieved by chiropractic sessions. Chiropractors use manual or electric stimulation or massage therapy to help the patient eliminate pain and discomfort from muscular strain around the joint area. Though patients start getting relaxed only after the very first session of chiropractic, sometimes pain symptoms do not wear off immediately. It may happen for multiple reasons; a few are explained below.

Firstly body needs time to adjust to a particular environment. Some biochemicals released in the vicinity of affected joints, including the muscles and ligaments, may initially lead to a sense of fatigue. Hence, the pain is not relieved after the first session, instead may take a few sessions to follow.

Secondly, everyone’s body is different; hence, it may take more than one session to relieve pain symptoms. Depending on the duration and intensity of the pain, the patient may take additional sessions to get relief from the symptoms.

Sometimes, pain symptoms’ intensity and long duration may take a few chiropractic care sessions to wear off completely. The human body needs time to adjust itself to the changes. The strain in muscles, tendons, and ligaments will wear off slowly with each session. Mild lifestyle modifications, including dietary habits, regular physical activity, and others, will help eliminate the pain symptoms effectively. It might take a little extra care and time to make the body’s adjustments according to the requirements, but it will indeed get cured. Patience is all that it requires.
